Esperanza

Final Front view render of Esperanza. A playful girl from a spaghetti western style world.  I wanted to focus on the shape language while building her. I took great inspiration from the movie Klaus.

Action gestures for Esperanza. At this stage of figuring out her character I wanted action poses that were loose and charming.

Design Iterations. This was the first thing I created for esperanza. Typically I start my process with 1 minute silouette thumbs that let me quickly bluesky several different ideas for others to choose from.

These are action poses for Mariposa from Mariposa. Zest was a feeling my team wanted the poses to encapulate. Designs take from the classic golden age of disney.

These are the action poses for the character above when she is older. She holds the same fire as before but also carries a great deal of confusion.

These are early hair iterations of Mariposa. This was back before we nailed our definitive classic style for the character work. much of this pulled from 1940's hair assesories, butterfly motifs and knowing our character would most likley haveher hair pulled back while cleaning.

Bluesky design ideas for the two leads of Sobremesa. The story is daughter coming together to heal over the loss of the mother through cooking together. So I wanted the feeling of reia's character to be inviting while Javier was more closed off.
